From a tiny baby my nickname has been "Bean"...it's a long story but it goes some way to explaining the name, "Tiny Beans"!
Since that time, Yoga has always played a part in my life, and 8 years ago i embarked on a teacher training course and have been teaching in and around London, Bath and worldwide ever since.
I have always had a fascination and respect for the magic and power of pregnancy and childbirth, and this, coupled with the many pregnant women who i used to come into contact with whilst teaching yoga, inspired me to start training in perinatal yoga with Francoise Barbira Freedman at Birthlight.
Since completing that Diploma, i have continued studies in postnatal yoga with newborn, baby yoga, birth preparation and a breastfeeding course with early nurture. I have been a recognised birth Doula with Doula uk since 2008 having attended several births at home, in hospital and one where the baby didnt want to wait for the midwife to arrive! And most excitingly i had my own little boy, Jasper in Dec last year.
I absolutely LOVE working with women at this time and helping them and their partners to have the best possible experience through their pregnancy, birth and journey as parents. It's about finding tools to help you connect with yourself and your baby...to trust your instincts and intuition allowing you to have the positive experience that you deserve.
