Pregnancy yoga, like normal yoga, offers you a way of dealing with the often hectic pace of life. Maintaining balance on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level is important for anyone, but during pregnancy with so much constantly changes and so many extra demands being placed on us and our bodies it is even more important. This make pregnancy the ideal time to begin a yoga practice that is nurturing, healing and balancing.
Sessions, which can be taken privately or as a group, work on physical postures and movements to help the body, the baby and to prepare for birth, as well as breathing techniques, sound work and relaxation.
Most importantly, it's your time and your space, and the more you can nourish and nurture yourself, the more you will be nourishing and nurturing that growing life inside you.
Classes are suitable for women from 12 weeks of pregnancy onwards
